Nihonjin Family

For my Japanese class, nihongo kurasu, I had to find or draw pictures of various family members of the Japanese household. Below are some of the pictures I drew for the project for my class. The character you see at the beginning is the kanji. Then after the dash is the hiragana spelling of that kanji spelling. The pronunciation in romanji is in the parenthesis. And then the English meaning.

兄  - あに (ani) older brother

弟 - おとうと (otouto) little brother

妹 - いもうと (imouto) little sister

And of course, last but not least,  -  (inu) dog
