As a joke, I made this digital card for a friend of mine for Valentine's day. He admitted that it creeped him out at first but then got the joke when he saw the next page. This is the link that I sent for hime t see his Happy Valentine's card www.wix.com/patzz4891/jaqevalentinecard

Nihongo no kurasu (Japanese Class)
In Japanese language class, we had to make New Year's cards (年賀状-ねんがじょう -nengajyou) for the Japanese language table's volunteers. The year 2010 was the year of the tiger, hence the tiger! This was my cover for the card that I made.
En tanto que de rosa y azucena por Garcilaso de la Vega
So for my Spanish Literature class, I had to make a collage based on of the readings we completed. I choose Garcilaso de la Vega's En tanto que de rosa y azucena. The central theme of the poem is carpe diem. It describes how beauty and youth is ephemeral and will fade all too soon. So enjoy your youth while you can.
This picture depicts the ideal female image during that period. She has lips as red as roses and skin as fair as lilies. Her hair compares to the gold veins hidden in the earth.
When you flipped the picture, you get an old, wrinkled lady. As cold and lifeless as the harsh winter. The roses and lilies begin to wilt in the unsustaining winter and her beauty begans to fade as well.
